This Privacy Policy explains how Signet (the “App”), published by
Nyxelium (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles information when you use the App. Signet is an
on-device batch photo watermarking app for Android (package com.nyxelium.signet).
Signet needs access to content you deliberately select in order to provide its watermarking features. This content remains on your device:
Signet does not upload source photos, previews, watermark text, logo files, drafts or exported images to Nyxelium.
Signet uses Android system pickers so you decide which photos or files the App may read. It does not request broad access to enumerate your entire photo library and does not request “all files” access.
Selected media is treated as read-only. Signet may make an app-owned working copy while a draft or export is active. Temporary files are used only to complete that job and are not repurposed for advertising, analytics, profiling or machine-learning training.
Every successful export is a new file. Signet does not overwrite or alter your original photo. In this release, exported files are saved to Android’s shared media collection so they can appear in compatible gallery and photo apps.
If you choose to share an export, Android’s system share interface lets you choose the receiving app or person. That transfer is initiated and controlled by you. The receiving service handles the file under its own privacy policy.
The initial Android release does not transmit personal data or app-usage data to Nyxelium. In particular, it has:
Google Play and the Android operating system may process information independently to distribute, secure and operate apps. Their handling is governed by Google’s policies, not by a Signet application server.
| Access | Why Signet uses it |
|---|---|
| System photo/file picker | To read only the photos and logo files you deliberately select. |
| Shared media collection | To save the new JPEG or PNG copies you ask Signet to create. |
The production release does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, advertising ID, broad photo-library or all-files permissions.
Photo metadata can contain sensitive information, including location or device details. Signet removes metadata by default where supported. If an export option explicitly lets you preserve supported metadata, the resulting file may include those values. Signet does not transmit those metadata values to Nyxelium.
Drafts, app-owned working copies and preferences remain locally only for as long as needed by the App’s workflow or until you remove them, clear Signet’s storage or uninstall the App. Exported files remain in the destination you selected until you delete them using Android or another file-management app.
Because Nyxelium does not receive this content, we cannot retrieve, restore or remotely delete it for you.
Signet relies on Android’s application sandbox, system content interfaces and scoped media storage to limit access. Device backups and device-to-device transfer of Signet’s private working data are disabled in this release. No method of local storage is completely risk-free, so keep your device and operating system protected and up to date.
Signet is intended for photographers, creators, online sellers and other general productivity users. It is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in the user’s country, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide rights over personal data. Most Signet content stays only on your device, where you control it directly. If you have a question or believe information has reached us through a support request, contact us using the address below.
We may update this policy when Signet’s features, service providers or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top of this page and provide additional notice where required. We will revise this policy and the applicable store disclosures before enabling advertising, purchases or remote diagnostics in a future release.
