Effective date: 13 July 2026  ·  Last updated: 13 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Chrono — Time Tracker (the “App”), published by Nyxelium (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles information when you use the App. Chrono is a Pomodoro focus timer and time-tracking app available on Google Play (package com.nyxelium.chronotimetracker).

The short version

1. Information stored on your device

Chrono is designed to work offline. The following stays on your device and is not transmitted to us:

This data is removed when you delete the App or clear its storage. Because it never leaves your device, we cannot retrieve or restore it for you.

2. Information collected by third parties

To offer a free, ad-supported tier and to keep the App stable, we use the trusted third-party services below. These services may collect information directly from your device under their own privacy policies.

3. How we use information

4. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

5. Advertising & your choices

The free version of Chrono shows ads via Google AdMob. Depending on your region and consent:

6. Device permissions

The App requests internet access for ads, analytics and purchase validation in the flows described above.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Information is processed only by the service providers named in §2, acting on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own policies, and where required by law.

8. Data retention

On-device data persists until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data held by Google services (advertising, analytics, billing) is retained according to Google’s policies. Crash and analytics data is typically retained for a limited period and in aggregated form.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because most of your content lives only on your device, you can exercise access and deletion directly by viewing or removing it in the App. For data held by Google services, see Google’s policy. To make a request to us, contact us at the address below.

10. Children’s privacy

Chrono is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Ads are configured for a general audience; if you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can address it.

11. International data transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses).

12. Security

We rely on your device’s app-sandboxing to protect on-device data and on reputable providers (Google) for processed data. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the App or on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
